Airmail 1951: First Flight cover addressed to New York carried on Qantas Return Flight from Cocos to Australia, franked by 1948 2 s. brown tied by GPO Sydney datestamp upon arrival. Large handstamp "COCOS / SYDNEY" at left and registration label " Cocos / 0023" although E.R Leigh-Parkin only prepared 20 covers for this Flight. Reverse with range of datestamps "C&W LTD / COCOS" (June 11), Sydney cds's (June 20) and San Francisco transit cds (June 22) and grey label "Per Qantas / Catalina / VH-EBA".
