Docketing on reverse "George Plowes - Applying for the office of Tidewater (Customs Official) at Vasse". George Plowes arrived on the 'Parkfield' in March 1841. 'Australind' was a settlement created by the Western Australia Co. which also boasted one of Hutt's London based brothers as a Director.
