    Postal Stationery 1892: Essay for the 1 d. postal stationery card, the original postcard-sized artwork based on Max Heuzenroder's prize winning entry in the 1890 Design Competition, the card beautifully hand-drawn in India ink, the legend (from another entry) being altered from "Address to be written on this side only" with manuscript "Alter words to Address to be written on this side" and, under stamp with the Duty plate 'Two Pence' blacked out: "alter value to One Penny". Illustrated in "The De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 6049.
