1857, Peru Steam Navigation Co., 1 r. blue on blued thick paper, a used example with good to large margins all round, cancelled by dotted oval LIMA handstamp in black, small corner bend at lower left mentioned for accuracy not affecting the appearance; listed in Moll (#1) on page 76, with just 7 examples recorded with this cancellation; an extraordinarily fine example of this very rare stamp.
