    1853: Entire letter sent within the same postal district from Crespin to Condé-sur-l'Escaut, internally dated "8 Juin 1857", bearing Napoléon imperf. 10 c. 'citron' type I from the defective 1857 print run, a fine and fresh example with large to enormous margins incl. parts of the left neighbouring stamp, tied by two strikes of the postman's cachet 'OR' in circle. Minor toning but a very interesting item, signed Calves.
