Colour Trials (3) for the choice of colours for the proposed new 3 d. value, with ½ d. brownish-violet & brown, ½ d. orange-brown & bright purple with manuscript "Approved for 3 d. 6.4.07" and signed by Sir William Mercer and the third examples in dull green & brown.
