    1840: 1 d. black, plate 5, lettered LH-LI, a used horizontal pair, with good to large margins all round, except at lower right and tear in 'G' of Postage in LI, on 1841 cover to London tied by rare and very fine strikes of Wotton-under-Edge Maltese Crosses in black. Reverse displays well with fine double arc WOTTON-UNDER-EDGE cds in black (March 19) and part red London arrival.
