    1840: 2 d. blue, plate 2, lettered PK, a used example with good to large margins mostly all round and just clear at top left, on 1842 entire letter from Preston to Manchester tied by Maltese Cross in blue. Double arc "Preston" despatch cds (March 3) displaying well on reverse in same colour, with year slugs '18' of 1842 inverted.
