    1850: Entire letter internally dated "Milano 8 Aprile 1856", forwarded and despatched in Trieste to a local address, bearing Carta a mano 10 c. 'nero intenso' type Ib, a fine example with fresh colour and good to huge margins all round, tied by black ink cross. File folds well away from the franking, edges of the entire partially broken, nevertheless a most interesting usage of a stamp of Lombardo - Veneto in Austria on a forwarder entire, delivered locally in Trieste. Cert. Ferchenbauer (2021) Ferchenbauer = € 5'000 for the ink cross cancellation alone.
