    1597: Pope Clement VIII (1536 – 1605), official parchment (320 x 240 mm) dated Ferrara 1597, in the fifth year of his pontificate, with attached lead seal showing: ".CLE/MENS/VIII" and "S.S.P.P' (Holy Peter and Paul) on reverse. After death of Duke of Ferrara Alfonso II d'Este (1533–1597) the possesions returned to the Holy See.
