Charged upon arrival with '90' lepta in red crayon, bearing 1862/67 Consecutive Athens printing 10 l. yellow-orange and 80 l. rose-carmine, vivid colours with overall fair to large margins, tied by ATHENS arrival cds (June 8) cds. File fold through the 10 lepta adhesive, also lightly touched at right, nevertheless an interesting cover from an extremely rare provenance for Greece, presumably unique. Cert. Sorani (2007) Hellas 18a+22a.rnNote: With Italian vessels from Tunis to Cagliari and further to Palermo and Messina. There the cover was transfered to a French vessel to Athens. For a further journey with an Italian or Austrian vessel the cover would have had to be transfered to Brindisi or Corfu.
