    Incoming from Austrian Levant Offices 1873 (Sept 8): Partially prepaid cover from Chios to Syra, bearing Austrian Levant 1867 coarse whiskers pair 5 s. red, tied by "SCIO-CESME" despatch cds (Tchilinghirian fig. 560) in brownish black. Upon arrival charged with '20' lepta in blue crayon. 1871/72 prinring 20 l. blue applied and tied by '67' numeral of Syros, matching SYRA arrival cds (Sept 9, 73) on reverse. The cover with light vertical file folds well away from the stamps, nevertheless an interesting and appealing combination cover. Signed Calves Hellas 35b.
