Used Abroad; Mexico: 1864, 4d vermillion, pl. 13, FJ, cancelled "C63" TAMPICO, used in combination with Mexico 1872, Hidalgo 25c. red overprinted "TAMPICO", "40" and "73" cancelled with oval Tampico handstamp on 27 Aug. 1873 lettersheet to Mexico. Extremely rare combination, just one other cover with this combination franking recorded, also from the "Graham Phillips y Cia" correspondence and dated 28 December 1873, a major rarity. K.
