    1901/07: Recut 1 a. blue, imperforate, two single examples, a vertical pair (on obverse) and a horizontal strip of three used on 1903 single rate registered cover (additional 1 anna for 'AR'), from Palpa to Kathmandu tied by square barred "Pa" handstamps of PALPA (Hepper page 12, fig. 1) in black. Half negative Palpa despatch cds (June 4) and Ridi transit (June 5) and Kathmandu arrival (June 7). A rare and most appealing cover.
