    1860: 20 c. azzuro, a fine and fresh adhesive with good to large margins, well embossed, tied by manuscript "Grosio 8 / 7 / 60" (Sassone SO = 9 punti) to cover to Sarnico at the Iseo Lake, reverse with a plethora of transit cds's from BERGAMO, SONDRIO and Austrian-type PALLAZZUOLO as well as Austrian-type SARNICO arrival cds (July 16). Interesting cover from a newly opened post office in the Veltlin after Lombardy became part of Sardinia, which had not yet supplied with a datestamp, signed Golinelli; certs. Raybaudi (1982), E. Diena (1983) Sassone = € 180 + 1'400.
