1873 (June 12): Envelope from Alexandria, Kherson gub. to Bex, Switzerland, bearing 1866 1 kop. yellow & black (2), 5 kop. lilac & black and 10 kop. brown & blue, all on horizontally laid paper, four fine and fresh examples, tied by ALEKSANRIA despatch cds, framed German "AUS RUSSLAND POST BUREAU V / 28 6" railway datestamp alongside. Reverse with VOLOCHISK transit (June 15) and BEX arrival (June 30) cds's.Roughly opened on top nevertheless an appealing cover, opinion Mikulski (2001).rnNote: Cover addressed to Armand Joseph, comte Le Serrec de Kervily (1815-1892), a French marine officer.
