Oil Rivers 1893: Waterlow Essay prior to 'Oil Rivers' being obliterated, Imperforate Essay for the proposed 1 s. value, printed in black on medium cream wove paper (90 x 1219 mm.), crossed through in pencil with left value tablet hand-painted in Chinese white and right hand value tablet un-coloured, without spandrels added above the vignette at top.
