    Issued at Old Calabar 1893 (Dec): 'Half / Penny' in vermilion on Great Britain 2½ d. purple on blue, an unused horizontal pair with Gibbons Type 7 handstamped surcharge in vermilion, the right hand stamp with variety "Surcharge Inverted", fresh and extremely fine with merest trace of speckles from red blotting paper utilised to store the stamps on superb large part og.
