1903: De La Rue Appendix sheet dated "16th Jan 1903" at top, for the colour selections of the Edward VII definitives, showing Imperforate Colour Trial of the 1 d. value in dull green & green (as selected for ½ d.), purple & black on red (2 examples, one in a darker shade at base) as selected for the 1 d. value, dull purple & blue on blued paper (2 examples, one in a darker shade at base) as selected for the 2½ d. value, with annotations of values at left and "App'd" at right. Illustrated in "The De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 4518.
