1890 (Oct 31): 7 d. dull mauve & slate used on registered 1897 cover to Oxford, Nova Scotia tied by TORTOLA cds (March 29). Oval 'R' in black and St. Thomas transit on reverse (with red registration cachet on front), thence via Baltimore, St. John's, Halifax and Amherst (April 21).
