Prepared for use but not Issued 1921: 'Abolition of Slavery 1st August 1838' De La Rue Master Die Proof for the proposed 6 d. value, Frame Only, engraved in black on thick card paper (70 x 54 mm.) and showing the printer's guidelines, a similiar example struck in blue as a presentation Proof is illustrated in "The De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 4328.
