Recess by Perkins Bacon 1857 (Aug 24): 2 d. green, wmk. Star, imperforate, the spectacular unused block of thirty-four and a single example (position 36), from the top of the sheet and showing the full sheet corner margins, of fabulous fresh colour witth a yelllowish tinge, generally large margins all round, slight scissor cut affects position 23 at base, of no significance, with this multiple demonstrating the misalignment between the stamps exceptionally well; one or two wrinkles on large part or unmounted og.
