    1922/27: 2 d. grey, an Imperforate 'Ireland Trial' Proof block of nine, sheet marginal at left and at base, third stamp defaced in pencil, printed on the Ireland Multiple SE monogrammed watermarked paper as a Trial (circa 1922) to test the paper's suitability for typographical printing, fresh and very fine, unmounted og. The few multiples that survive from this Trial are usually much more defaced than this block. Rare.
