La Guaira 1864/67: Lithographed by Rasco 2 r. yellow-green, zig-zag roulette 9-9½, a fine example but crossed by file fold, used on September 1865 cover from Caracas to Bordeaux, endorsed "via San Tomas", tied by blurred oval Caracas despatch in black. London transit cds on reverse and struck there with "GB / 1F 60 c." accountancy marking in black. Calais transit above (Oct 14) and charged with handstruck '8' décimes in black for single rate.
