1862: 5 c. green, 1867 laureated 80 c. carmine and 1870 Bordeaux 10 c. bistre, small imperfections, all used on 1872 cover from Valencia to Bordeaux endorsed under the adhesives "voie d'Angleterre", tied by Anchor lozenges in black. However, carried on French Packet "Nouveau Monde" from La Guayra with octagonal "VENEZUELA / PAQ. FR. A No. 3" in black (Oct 11). Underpaid 5 centimes for the 1 fr. 20 c. rate and struck with framed AFFRANCHISEMENT / INSUFFISANT in black. Charged '25 c.' handstruck due upon arrival.
