1862/63: France 80 c. carmine, a single example used on 1865 mourning envelope to Bordeaux tied by bold strike of "ADMON. DE CORREOS / MONTEVIDEO" oval datestamp (March 1) in black. Probably carried on the RMSP "Parana" which left Montevideo on the same day, arriving at Southampton on 5 April. London cds on reverse in red (April 5) and struck there with framed "GB / 1F 60c." accountancy marking in black. Calais entry mark and charged '8' décimes in black.
