Antilles 1857: Cuba ½ r. blue, two single examples with large margins all round, used on 1862 cover from Havana (Jan 24) to Bordeaux, carried by Spanish ship and endorsed "Vapor Correo Almogabar" at top, tied by barred obliterator in black. From St. Thomas (Feb 12) by British ship to London where struck with "GB / 1F 60c." accountancy handstamp and charged 8 décimes due in black: Tariff of 1 Jan 1857.
