    Preussen 1866 (Oct 22): Cover from Berlin to Maillane nearby St. Rémy-de-Provence, bearing 1861 Arms 6 pf. orange and 2 sgr. blue (2), tied by BERLIN despatch cds in blue with framed Affranchissement insuffisant" handstamp in black and French "PRUSSE 24 OCT 66 ERQUELINES" entry cds in blue alongside. The reverse with PARIS transit and "ST REMY-DE-PROVENCE" arrival (Oct 25) cds's. Horizontal file fold well away from the adhesives, taxed with '7' décimes upon arrival.rnNote: The double rate was 120 c. from or to the second Prussian rayon where 4½ sgr. or 50 c. were deducted due to the prepayment resulting in the 70 centime taxation.
