1866: Incoming cover to St. Louise, on the Island of Marie Galante, mailed on 2 March 1866 from Great Britain franked by 1865/67 1 s. green plate 4, two examples for double rate, tied by London '46' numeral obliterators in black. Carried by RMSP "Atrato" to St. Thomas and tranferred to the "Wye" arriving in Guadeloupe on March 18 with arrivals of Basse Terre and Grand Bourg on reverse. Taxed with '6' décimes handstruck due.
