1859/61: 6 d. blue, imperforate with large even margins all round, used in combination with 1860 2 d. blue. perf. 14 on 1861 cover from Port Louis to Bordeaux endorsed "via Marseilles" each tied by circular PAID handstamp in black. Reverse with fine "♚ / MAURITIUS / GPO" datestamp (May 6) in black, obverse with "PAYS ETR. V. SUEZ / AMB. A" entry marking in red (June 3) and charged '8' décimes due in black: tariff of 1 Jan 1857.
