1869: 4 a. green, Die I, a horizontal pair used on 1867 cover from Calcutta to Bordeaux endorsed "Per Steamer Meinam", tied by octagonal "B/1/ obliterators and private 'Stamped' in blue; reverse with "Calcutta / India Unpaid" datestamp (Oct 2) and obverse with rare usage of framed "GB / 40c." accountancy marking in blue, thence by French Paquebot "Meinam" with octagonal "POS.
