    1866 (Feb 21): Envelope from Milano to Ponte de Piave, Venetia, bearing the rarest 'gemelli' combination of 1865 (Jan) 'Ferro di cavallo' 20 on 15 c. blue in Type II and 'azzuro celeste' in Type III in mixed franking with 1863 DLR 5. 'grigio verde scuro' (3), five fine adhesives, tied by MILANO despatch cds and "P.D." handstamp, both in black. Reverse with TREVISO transit (Feb 27) cds. An appealing combination franking including the rarest combination two different types of the 'Ferro di cavallo', correctly paying the 55 centesimi rate from the second Italian to the second Austrian rayon.
