    Last Day of the Kingdom of Sardinia 1860: 20 c. blue, a fine and fresh adhesive with good to large margins, well embossed, tied by clear "GROSIO 16 MAR. 61" cds (Sassone SO = 5 punti), clear information strike alongside, on entire letter directed to Rodolo via Morbegno. Reverse with Sondrio transit cds of the same day. An entire despatched one day before the Kingdom of Italy was proclaimed in Torino on March 17, 1861.
