    First day of issue 1858: 2 gr. lilac-rose, plate I from pos. 2 of the 7th column with the typical vertical stripes, large to huge margins, tied by boxed ANNULLATO with oval Chieti handstamp in red alongside, on entire letter directed to Napoli, dated inside "2. Gennaio 1858", the first date of usage of the Bourbonic adhesives, the letter content deals also with the introduction of these stamps. Reverse with GENNAIO arrival datestamp. A fine and fresh usage, certs A. Diena (1974), E. Diena (1985).
