1851/60: 6 d. deep green on bluish, a fine and fresh example with good to large margins, lightly tied by 'Bars in Oval' obliterator and "ST. JOHN N.B." transit cds (July 14, 1859) to cover to Winchendon, Massachusetts. Reverse with indistinct despatch cds (July 11, 1859) in black, obverse with red "PAID 10" in circle denoting the US postage paid.
