    1878: Envelope from Paris to Lyon including a sheet with small advertisements and sold at a reduced rate of 10 instead of 15 centimes, bearing Sage 15 c. blue perforated with "S.P.U." of the 'Societé de publicité universelle', tied by "PARIS 26 GARE DU NORD 5 MARS 94" despatch cds, reverse with arrival cds if the next day. Opened on three sides for presentation purposes, a very early advertisement envelope which was combined with a reduced postage to achieve a higher distribution, the stamp was perforated to avoid its theft.
