    1870: Entire letter from Charolles to Lyon, bearing a strip of five Napoléon laureated 1 c. bronze in mixed franking with Siège 20 c. blue, fresh and fine adhesives, tied by light Gros Chiffres '903' numeral lozenge, the company cachet in blue repeated on the two stamps at left, matching "CHAROLLES 30 SEPT 71" despatch cds alongside. Reverse with Bureau de passe '1307' datestamp and Lyon arrival cds of the next day. Part of address crossed out, nevertheless a very attractive September cover combination.
