    Pen cancellation 1849: Cérès 20 c. black on yellow paper, a fine example with good to large margins, tied by pen cross to entire letter to Tournan, dated internally "Rojoy a 11 janvier 1849" (paper of cover torn below the adhesive). Type 15 "ROJOY en BRIE 11 JANV. 49" cds alongside, reverse with type 14 "TOURNAN 13 JANV. 1848" arrival cds. An attractive cover with a rare provisional obliteration which was in use only in the two first weeks of January 1849. Cert. Calves (2000) Yvert = € 1'500 / Maury 3 = € 1'600.
