    1903: Opening of the New Post Office in Bucharest, the complete set of fifteen values from 1 b. to 5 l. unused with somewhat tropicalised reverse, each handstamped ULTRAMAR in violet (the 50 b. and 40 b. showing partial double overprints) by the Portuguese Ministry of the Colonies upon receipt from the UPU in Berne. The 10 b. rose sadly defective at lower left and rounded corner on 5 l. but the balance of the set very fine. An extremely scarce set.
