    1871 (March 1): 1 c. ochre and 5 c. bistre-brown, single examples used on first rate (6 c.) 1871 cover to Retahuleu tied by bold strike of "5" numeral obliterator of Solola, reverse with manuscript "1871 Totonicap Mayo 17 rte Correo" of transit. The 1 c. adhesive with straight edge at base and small envelope opening fault at top right but a remarkable and rare pre-decimal first rate cover. Signed E. Diena.
