    1778: Cover from Puerto de Santa Maria, Spain to La Coruña, Valle de la Hermita, Guatemala with ANDALUCIA / LA ALTA despatch in red, truncated "ESPANA" handstamp applied in red on arrival in Havana or possibly Vera Cruz, addressed to Manuel Sanz y Carrasco (appointed 2nd Army Surgeon in 1773, died 1778). Cover with file stitch holes and some internal docketing, a rare and extremely early letter to Guatemala.
