    1860: Double rate Entire letter from Pont-de-Beauvoisin bearing Napoléon imperf. 10 c. brown in a block of four, a fine multiple with good to large margins, each adhesive cancelled by Petits Chiffres '2497' lozenge, despatch cds (April 17, 1861) alongside, reverse with arrival cds of the same day. Entire with filing folds, one below the left pair, some wear and tear, nevertheless an exceptional way to pay the 40 c. double letter rate. Yvert = € 950 / Maury 13/II = € 880.
