    PSNC & RMSP 1877: Cover from Guayaquil to Elbeuf, France franked by Great Britain 1870 ½ d. rose pl. 5 in a strip of three and 1874/76 6 d. grey pl. 15 in a strip of three all tied by "C41" obliterators in black, "GUAYAQUIL" double arc on reverse (May 2). Carried on PSNC Steamer to Panama with three line dated "PANAMA / TRANSIT" (May 5) and thence on RMSP "Nile" from Colon to Plymouth. 'London / Paid' transit cds (May 29) in red. Faults incl. part flap missing and stamps backed for display after originally folded around envelope, but a scarce and appealing make-up of the 1/7½ d. rate.
