    Messageries Impériales 1868: Cover from Cayenne to Bordeaux at double rate, endorsed "Par Packet Française", franked by 1859/65 Eagle issue 10 c. bistre-brown vertical pair and 40 c. orange horizontal pair, tied by dotted lozenge in black. "GUYANE / CAYENNE" despatch cds (Aug 31) in black below. Reverse with octagonal "COL. FR. / PAQ. FR. C No. 1" datestamp (Sept1) and carried on the "Guyanne" to Fort de France and thence on the "Nouveau Monde" to St. Nazaire with fair "Ligne A" datestamp on reverse (Sept 8).
