    Messageries Impériales 1876 (Nov 20): Entire letter from La Guaira to Santander, Spain, endorsed "per St. Guyane", franked by Venezuela 1876 ½ r. rose pair (Scott 47) tied by "CORREOS LA GUAIRA" handstamp in black and, for onward transmission with France 1870 Siège 40 c. orange and Type Sage 30 c. brown in a horizontal pair tied by octagonal "LA GUAYRA" Consular datestamps (Nov 20) in black (Salles fig. 1374). Carried on the Ligne E Steamer "Guyane" to Fort de France with octagonal "LIGNE B / PAQ. FR. No. 4" datestamp (Nov 29) displaying well on reverse (Salles fig. 1432) and thence on the "Ville de Bordeaux", taxed on arrival with circular "1P 30" in blue.
