    SGTM 1869 (Sept 20): Cover from Buenos Aires to Genoa, Italy carried at double rate and franked by France 1863 30 c. brown in a block of eight (4 x 2) applied over the top of the envelope, tied by dotted Anchor lozenge in black with octagonal "BUENOS AYRES" Consular datestamp (Sept 20) below (Salles fig. 1058). Carried on the Paquebot "Savoie" with circular "PLATA / MARSEILLE" entry marking in red (Oct 25). Slight corner fault to one stamp and imperfections but an attractive cover.
