    Messageries Impériales 1874 (Dec 26): Cover from Buenos Ayres to Bordeaux at triple rate, endorsed "per Mendoza", franked by Argentina 1867 15 c. blue (Scott 19) tied by "Buenos Aires / OM" datestamp in black and Belgrano 10 c. green pair on reverse tied by "J" marking in combination with France Siège 40 c. orange and 1871/5 Cérès 10 c. bistre on rose (2) and 80 c. carmine (3) all tied by dotted Anchor lozenge. Octagonal "BUENOS AYRES / PAQ. FR. J No. 4" datestamp (Dec 26) alongside. Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 109. An unusual and most attractive cover.
