Abnormal 1862 (May): 9 d. bistre, Hairlines, Plate 3, wmk. Emblems, lettered TJ, a used example of outstanding colour, neatly cancelled by "75" numeral obliterator of Birmingham leaving the Hairlines clear. Ironed vertical bend and blunt perf. thin at top but an extremely rare stamp: just 57 examples exist of which 11 are unused. Signed Holcombe. Cert.
