Large Crown, perf. 14, lettered ND, a single example paying the internal rate, used on 1856 cover to New York State, USA tied by "Newbury 544" Sideways Duplex code B in black (June 17). Reverse with London transit cds in red (June 18) and thence carried on Ocean Line Steamer 'Hermann' with "N. YORK AM. PKT / 24"  (cents) cds of receipt (July 3) in black. An attractive and unusual cover.
