    Suez Canal Company 1868 (July): 20 c. blue, a used example with good to large margins all round, used on 14 July 1868 entire letter from Leon Labbé in Port Said to the merchants Mazet & Martin in Kantara, tied by Port Said "5129" gros chiffres in black. Slight stain on face panel away from adhesive. This is the earliest recorded date of use of any Suez Canal Company stamp on letter. Mentioned and illustrated in Jean Boulad d'Humières, Ringström & Tester's 'Suez Canal Company' on page 80.
